Memorial services for Lois Eileen Peters of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Mountain Home, with Alice Hurley officiating.
Lois died Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Mountain Home, at the age of 84. She was born June 10, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond A. and Odella Gremb Telford. She married Anthony Peters on May 25, 1983 at Ojai, California and worked as a Secretary for General Motors. Lois lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 2007 moving from Yucca Valley, California.
Lois is survived by her son, James Jay (Jeanette) Anderson of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Caro Lynn Anderson of Mountain Home, AR; 2 brothers, Clyde Telford of Winnetka, CA and Bob Telford of Palmdale, CA; 3 grandchildren, Trenton, Brendon and Heather Mitchell; many great-grandchildren and special friend, Marilyn Mahaffey of Yucca Valley, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and 1 daughter, Barbara.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Hospice of the Ozarks.
