A Funeral Service for Lora June Johnson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Susie Wilson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, October 25, 2013 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Lora June Johnson, daughter of the Earl E. and Isabel E. Masonbrink Hensley, was born September 11, 1953, at Kansas City, Missouri. She entered into eternal rest on October 19, 2013, at the age of 60, at Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Lora received her education in West Plains, Missouri and was baptized at the Prairie Grove Church. On December 10, 1983, she married Harold Johnson. She worked at the Mar-Bax Shirt Factory for five years, then worked at the Baxter Laboratories for 30 years.
Lora is survived by her husband, Harold Johnson of the family home; two children, Earl D. Johnson and wife, Tiffany of Mountain Home, AR and Kevin L. Johnson of Mountain Home, AR; step-daughter, Wava Poinzta of Oklahoma; and mother, Isabel Hensley. She is also survived by four brothers and six sisters, Mary (Arthur) Eagleman of Tomball, Texas, Connie (James) Loy Caulfield, Missouri, Sharon (David) Engleman of Garber, Oklahoma, Gary (Betty) Hensley of Niangua, Missouri, Phillis (Alan) Burkhart of West Plains, Missouri, Ronnie (Tresa) Hensley of Caulfield, Missouri, Dennis (Sherry) Hensley of Vilonia, Arkansas, Vickey (Michael) Ehert of Caulfield, Missouri and Betty (John) Knowles of Ozark, Missouri. She is survived by her three grandchildren, Blaine, Trent, and Colton, two step-grandchildren, Rebeka and Alex; 24 nephews and nieces and 25 great-nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Earl E. Hensley; brother, Eddie Hensley, sister, Linda Sue Hensley and uncle, Buddy Masonbrink.
Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR, with Kenny, Gary, Dennis, William, Daniel and Jason Hensley, Robert Noyes and Kevin Johnson as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Blaine, Trent and Colton Johnson, Earl Johnson.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of the Baxter Credit Union.
