Funeral Services for Loretta Gills, 71, of Mountain Home, AR., will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at the Bar None Cowboy Church, with Reverend Maurice Hitt and Reverend Bill House officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Kirby Funeral Home Chapel.

Loretta passed away January 14, 2012, at her residence. She was born July 16, 1940, in Galesburg, IL., the daughter of Jimmy and Evelyn Lucille Tuthill Sloan. She married Billy Gills on May 14,1960 at Kermit, Texas. Loretta lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1968 moving from Union City, TN. She was a member of The Bar None Cowboy Church, was the original volunteer coordinator for Hospice of the Ozarks, a former Brownies and Girl Scout leader and was known as "everybody's Mom".

Loretta is survived by her Husband Billy, her father; Jimmy Sloan of Arlington, TX, one son; Billy H. (Louise) Gills, Jr., of Pocahontas, AR, one daughter; Pamela Hall of Batesville, AR; 5 grandchildren, Danielle (Jasun) Hopper of Heber Springs, AR, Amanda (James) Blake of Mountain Home, Shyanne McKiddy of Hot Springs, AR, Elaine & Chad Swann, two great grandchildren, Ryan and Brooklyn Blake; one sister, Phyllis Watson of Arlington, TX, 3 sisters-in-law, Annette (Bill) Milloway, of Arkadelphia, AR, Sue (Walter) Earnest of Star City, AR and Gloria (Johnny) Berndobler of Winter Gardens, FL; one brother-in-law; Kenneth (Sally ) Gills of Arkadelphia, AR and one adopted daughter, Karen Moser of Batesville, AR.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Lucille "Tootie" Shumaker, one son, Shane Gills and one grandson, Nicholas Cody Hopper.

Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery, Gurdon, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks or the Bar None Cowboy Church.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
