Lorraine Jones

Funeral Services for Lorraine W. Jones of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at the First Presbyterian Church, with Reverend Nancy Taylor officiating. Visitation will be Monday, January 14, 2013 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Lorraine passed away January 10, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. She was born August 8, 1927, in Early, Iowa, the daughter of Otto and Edna Schmadeke Piel. She married Willard Jones on September 28, 1946, at Nashville, Illinois and worked as a Group Accounts Manager for Blue Cross - Blue Shield. Lorraine lived in Mountain Home, since 1988, moving from Granite City, Illinois. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed volunteering, crocheting, gardening, traveling and helping others. Lorraine is survived by her two sons, Michael Jones of Marionville, MO and Stuart Jones of Denver, CO; one daughter, Margaret Kuenkler of Granite City, IL; three sisters, Marcella Piel of Granite City, IL, Darlene Jacobs of Red Bud, Illinois and Marjorie Collias of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Eric Kuenkler, Jenny Brant, Kevin Jones, Crystal Blaszczynski and Justin Kuenkler and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR.
