Lorraine Konfrst died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 in Mountain Home. She was 89. Lorraine Konfrst was born Sunday, April 28, 1918 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Benjamin F. Novotny and Genevive Powell. She married Frank Konfrst on July 22, 1954 at Chicago, IL. She worked as a Executive Secretary for the Brunswick Corp. Lorraine lived in Mountain Home for 26 years moving from Maitland, FL. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and St. Peter's CCW, a Baxter Hospital Auxiliary Volunteer, Bull Shoals Retired Fisherman's Club, Czech-American Club and member of VFW #3246 Ladies Auxiliary. Survivors: Her sister, Mary Jane (Thaddeus) Tala of Sturgeon Bay, WI and several neices and nephews . Preceded in Death by: Her husband, Frank Konfrst and 1 brother, Benjamin. Funeral: Services will be at 3:00 P.M. Saturday November 3, 2007 at Kirby & Family Funeral Chapel , with Deacon Richard Linstead officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
