Louise Hope Fleming was born September 20, 1917, at Detroit, Michigan, to Samuel and Dell Herrington Fleming. She was a news writer for the Baxter Bulletin and a published author. She was a longtime member of Friends of the Baxter County Library and the Area Art Club. She also enjoyed gardening and was of Protestant faith. Louise Hope Fleming died Monday, September 11 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. Survivors: She is survived by her sister, Edith Jarabek of Mountain Home; four nephews, John Vincent Fleming of Princeton, New Jersey; Richard Fleming of Las Cruces, New Mexico; Robert Crowe of Oak Forest, Illinois; Billy Crowe of Indiana; six nieces, Shirley Seymour of Victorville, California; Betty Crowe of Oak Forest, Illinois; Vivian Jarabek of Union Grove, Wisconsin; Millie Rockafellow of Mesa, Arizona; Edith Kellem of Mountain Home, Arkansas; Betty Jackson of Huxley, Iowa; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Visitation: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. Funeral: A memorial service for Louise Hope Fleming, 88, of Mountain Home will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 1 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmie Snow and The Reverend Joan Fleming officiating.
