A Memorial Service for Louise N. Oppenhagen of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Thursday, January 24, 2013, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, with Reverend Jim McDonald officiating.
Louise passed away January 18, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. She was born June 6, 1931, in , Massachusetts. She married Clarence Oppenhagen on December 20, 1948, at Chicago, Illinois and worked as a bookkeeper for Sears Company for 18 years. Louise lived in Mountain Home, since 1994, moving from Fox Lake, Illinois. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
Louise is survived by her two sons, Scott Oppenhagen of Fox Lake, IL, and Bruce Oppenhagen of VA, four grandchildren, Bryan Oppenhagen of Fox Lake, IL, Mia Oppenhagen of Lindenhurst, IL, Ann (Mark) Hands of Johnsburg, IL, and Christian Oppenhagen of VA, and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and all of her brothers and sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
