Loyal A Huson

Loyal A. Huson of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away June 23, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 98. He was born June 12, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois. He married Betty Baumann on June 28,1965 in Ingleside, Illinois and worked as a packing engineer for Weber Grill. Loyal was a U.S. veteran of the United States Navy. Loyal lived in Lakeview since moving from McHenry, Illinois in 1990. He was a member of the Christ by the Lake Church. He enjoyed woodworking. Loyal was a life member of Twin Lakes Base United States Submarine Veterans and Life member of Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post #1341 & Auxiliary, Bull Shoals, Arkansas.

Loyal is survived by his daughters; Doreen Drinan of Las Vegas, NV, and Patricia (James) Molivas of Nashua, NH; son, Vernon "Butch" Van Zandt of Horseshoe Bend, AR; son-in-law, Dick Adler; nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty Huson; daughter, Kathleen Adler; brother, Gale Huson and sister June Huson.

A Graveside Service for Loyal will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Celebrant Heather Marsalis officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post #1341 and the United States Navy.
