Lucille Kerber

Lucille E. Kerber was born February 22, 1919 at Elgin, Illinois to Louis A. and Ella Dettman Alten. She married Harry Kerber on September 13, 1941 and worked in the accounting department of the Sherman Hospital for 18 years. She moved to Mountain Home in 1997 from Elgin, Illinois and passed away at her residence on May 20, 2004 at the age of 86 years, 2 months and 28 days. Survivors: 3 Brothers; David Althen and wife Betty of Santa Maria, California, James Althen of Yellville, Arkansas and William Althen of Wisconsin. One sister; Ruth Steffan and husband Gordon of Mountain Home, Arkansas Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband, 2 Brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral: Memorial Services will be Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at the Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles White officiating. Burial: entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum. Memorials: American Cancer Society.
