Lucille Grace Martin was born October 20, 1917, in Tiskilwa, Illinois. She was the daughter of Edward and Vietta Staker Bachman. She married Charles Martin, June 15, 1939, in Wenona, Illinois. She was a homemaker and lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since moving from Haines City, Florida, in 1987. Mrs. Martin was a member of the Mountain Home Bible Church and the TOPS Arkansas 318 Club. Lucille Grace Martin passed away at Baxter Regional Medical Center, April 19, 2006, at the age of 88 years, 5 months and 29 days. Survivors: Her husband of sixty-six years, Charles Martin of Mountain Home, Arkansas; one son, Richard (Carol) Martin of DuMont, New Hampshire; one daughter, Susan (John) Hughes of DeKalb, Illinois; five grandchildren, Amanda Martin, Jeffry (Lynne) Johnson, Michael (Mary) Johnson, Jennifer (Terry) Towery and Christopher (Christine) Johnson; seven great-grandchildren, Zebadiah, Erika, Alexandra and Isabella Johnson; and Zachary, Blaine and Brennan Towery; and two brothers, Donald (Patricia) Bachman of St. George, Utah and Leroy (Beverly) Bachman of Green Valley, Arizona Preceded in Death by: Her parents; two brothers, Orville and Floyd; and one sister, Ruby Springer Visitation: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel Funeral: A funeral service for Lucille Grace Martin, 88, of Mountain Home will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 22, 2006, at the Mountain Home Bible Church with Reverend Jerry Bauman and Reverend Wes Uplinger officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum.
