A Graveside Service for Lula Mae "Chick" Willmer of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor John Easterling officiating.
Chick passed away April 29, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 96. She was born April 12, 1921, in Maretti, Kansas. She married Fred Willmer on May 28, 1955, in Reno, Nevada and worked at People's Bank, now First Security Bank, where she retired after 35 years. Chick lived in Mountain Home since 1959, moving from San Jose, California. She was a member for the Lakeview Women's Bowling Hall of Fame and helped with the Special Olympics where she would take the kids bowling. She was an outstanding cook and had wonderful stories of fishing from her pontoon boat.
Chick is survived by a daughter, Deborah Graham of Gassville, AR; two nieces, Lois Buchardt of Springfield, MO and Glorian "Mick" Wickham of Gravois Mills, MO; numerous other nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and special friends, Reba and Ken Crosby and Kenny Willett of Mountain Home, AR.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred.
Memorials may be made to the Junior Bowler's League, c/o Driftwood Bowling Center.
