Funeral Services for Luther Allen Gregg of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Preacher Donnie Gregg and Mr. Ray Lewis officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
Luther passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Mountain Home, at the age of 66. He was born June 13, 1945, in Palestine, AR, the son of Herman and Pauline Hargrove Gregg. He was the former owner and operator of Gregg's Starter, Alternator and Radiator Shops in Greenwood, Mississippi and Mountain Home, Arkansas. Luther lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1977, moving from Greenwood, Mississippi.
Luther Gregg is survived by his son, Brian Allen (Brandi Dreggors) Gregg of Clarkridge, AR; 2 daughters, Tina Marie (Brian Butts) Gregg, of Buford, AR, Corenna Lynn (Steve) Aldridge, of Buford, AR; brother, Furman Gregg, of Salem, AR; sister, Diane Bolin, of Mountain Home, AR; grandchildren, Heather Findley, Nicholas Flow, James Flow, Kody Aldridge, Lathon Aldridge, Rivers Aldridge, Kai Aldridge, Brooke Gregg, Felecia Pellham and Breya Gregg, all of Mountain Home, AR; 2 great-grandsons, Chevy Findley, and Michael Johnson; great-granddaughter, Haven Donna; and special friends, DeDe Burss, Jackie Foster, Dale Buttry, and Scott Biggerstaff.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 1 sister.
