Lyle Royer

Lyle died August 1, 2008 at the age of 81. On June 4, 1955 he married Dorothy Fritz in Sterling, Illinois. Lyle was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and lived in Mountain Home since 1985. He was a member of the VFW and loved fishing and traveling. He was friendly, loving and known for his great sense of humor. Survivors: Lyle Royer is survived by 2 sons, David Ray (Sue) Royer of Coal City, IL and John Francis Royer of Warren, AR, 1 daughter, Jackie (Kurt) Schmidt of Lynnwood, WA, 1 brother, Don (Barbara) Fackler, of IL, 2 sisters, Ann Blanding, of TX and Phyllis (Ron) Boysen, of KY, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Royer and his parents. Funeral: Graveside services for Lyle Ray Royer of Mountain Home, AR, will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday August 6, 2008 at the Fairmount-Willow Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial: Burial will be in the Fairmount Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, Illinois. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
