Lyman Gene Alfrey of Flippin, Arkansas passed away May 28, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 64. He was born October 4, 1956 in Corpus Christi Texas to Dave and Bobbi Alfey. Lyman moved to Flippin, Arkansas in 2012 and worked as an over the road truck driver. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving our country for 4 years.
Lyman loved being outdoors and all of nature; he especially loved animals and dogs in particular. Lyman was always willing to help out when needed spending many days helping Bobbi raise their beloved Norwegian Elk Hounds. His two favorite puppies were
"Junior" a Norwegian Elk Hound and "Trixie" a rescue dog whom he took with him over the road and taught to play Frisbee.
Lyman is survived by his parents Dave and Bobbi Alfrey of Cotter, Akansas; brother Glenn Alfrey (Edna) of Flippin, Arkansas; and Sister Sandy Ferguson (Mike) of Atoka, Tennessee.
A Celebration of Life for Lyman will be held at the Twin Lakes Baptist Church, Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 2:00 pm. with Dr. Sam Bailey, Senior Saints Pastor Robert Horn and Associate Pastor Bill Hughes officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cross Trails Outfitters through Twin Lakes Baptist Church.
