Lynette Frances Pratt of Mountain Home, AR passed away on April 18, 2013 in Mountain Home. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, February 3rd, 1943 to Fred and Elayne (Ende) Schuster.
A graduate of Academy of Our Lady, she attended DePaul University. She was married to Arthur H. Pratt on Sept 14th, 1963 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois. She was employed as Executive Secretary to the Tax Partner at Deloitte, Touche, both in Chicago, Illinois and Atlanta, Georgia. During the 70?s, Lynette acted in costume as ?Sparky, the Fire Prevention Dog? for the Village of Park Forest, Illinois during fire prevention week and other civic outings.
She is survived by her husband, Art; son, Michael (Linda) Pratt of Charlestown, IN; daughter, Deborah (Keith) Bradley of Equality, IL; grandson, Gregory (Jackie) Pratt; granddaughters, Margaret Bradley and Rebecca Pratt; the new love of her life, great granddaughter, Brookelyne Pratt; brother, James (Mary) Schuster of Woodstock, GA and several nieces..
Lynette had a long history with Mountain Home, first visiting in 1963, and continuing unbroken for the next 25 years, then followed by infrequent visits until she and her husband returned to Mountain Home for good in 2009. Her many friends in Chicago IL, Atlanta GA, and Phoenix AZ, as well as those near by will miss her.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, Arpil 24, 2013, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Father Christopher Okeke as Celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the North Central Arkansas Humane Society or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
