Madge passed away March 19, 2016, at her home at the age of 80. She was born September 28, 1935, in Shreveport, Louisiana, the daughter of Virgil and Madge Smith Mulkey. She married William O'Leary on October 27, 1956, in Shreveport and worked in Member Services for Cenla Credit Union Bank. Madge lived in the Mountain Home area since 1999, moving from Pollock, Louisiana. Madge loved painting and singing. She enjoyed doing crafts with her mother, gardening, horses, and bird watching. Madge was an animal lover, especially her dog,Tillie.
Madge is survived by her mother, Madge Mulkey of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Leah (Lee) O'Leary-Eaves of Reasnor, IA; son, Kevin (Christi) O'Leary of Valparaiso, FL; six grandchildren, Leah Anne, Mike, Justin, Travis, Brittani (Joseph) and Brandi (Mike); six great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Allen Rogers of Mountain Home, AR; brother-in-law, Fred Bollinger of Hanover, PA; and her best-friend, Reva McConeghey of Monroe, IA.
She was preceded in death by her father, Virgil Mulkey; husband, William O'Leary; daughter, Cindy Rogers, and sister, Judy Bollinger.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of North Central Arkansas.
