Mallie Irene Shirley of Ozark, Arkansas, passed away November 9, 2023, in Ozark, Arkansas at the age of 99. She was born January 8, 1924, in Branch, Arkansas. She was daughter of Harvey and Minnie (McBride) Lawrence. Mallie grew up and was a 1942 graduate of Ozark High School. She lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas for 20 years before moving back to Ozark, Arkansas. She was a homemaker and loved to plant flowers and doing crossword puzzles. The love of her life was her dog, Precious.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and stepchildren.
She is preceded in death by her late husband, Tom Shirley; her brothers, Harvey Dean, Gean and William Lawrence; and two sisters, Helen Gambrel and Florine Kinsworthy.
Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
