Marcus Iverson

Marcus Conrad Iverson of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away August 18, 2024, in Bull Shoals, Arkansas at the age of 96. He was born October 22, 1927, in Canby, Minnesota, the son of Martin and Ida Thonrud Iverson. He married Shirley Ellison on November 29, 1953, in Porter, Minnesota and worked as a lumber yard manager. Marcus lived in Lakeview since moving from Luverne, Minnesota, in 1991. He was a member of Christ by the Lake Church. Marcus enjoyed fishing, woodworking and model trains.

Marcus is survived by his son, Michael Iverson of Bull Shoals, AR; daughter, Bonnie (Todd) Hudlin of Warner Robbins, GA; grandchildren, Tyler Hudlin, Trevor Hudlin, Autum Reedy and Stephanie O'Grady; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and brother, Edward Iverson.

A Celebration of Life for Marcus will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 22, 2024, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, AR, with Reverend Mike Clark officiating. Inurnment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, AR.

Memorials may be made to Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church in Bull Shoals, Arkansas.
