A Funeral Service for Margaret Altana Camp of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brothers Wayne and Lloyd Camp officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 pm until service time. Margaret passed away March 11, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was born May 18, 1924, in Lexington, Nebraska, the daughter of Ralph and Grace Cooms Camp. She worked as a clerk and typist for the Department of Human Services. Margaret lived in Bull Shoals, since 1986 moving from Lexington, Nebraska. She was a member of the of the Mountain Home Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, traveling, site seeing and made two trips to England. She enjoyed dogs, feeding and observing the birds and was an avid story teller of real life occurrences. Margaret is survived by her eleven second cousins: Virginia Dearmore of Mountain home, AR, Mae Harris, Wilma Ritt, Bill Rife and Richard Rife all of Howards Ridge, MO, Jim Rife of TX and Bessie Johnson and Darlene Parks both of MO. Lloyd Camp of Midway, AR, Wayne Camp of Mountain Home, AR and Dave Camp of Vidor, TX. Along with an extension of family members and friends. Sometimes folks are permitted to have a second family of equal bonding. Margaret was so blessed among the family of Jean Hueitt. While this family did not grow within the physical existence of her family tree, they were grafted in by growing within her heart these past many, many years. Through Margaret, this family also became our extended family as will and we love them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Grace Camp; uncle, Harlin Camp; two cousins, Rose Rife and Joe Camp and a second cousin, Frank Rife. Burial will be in the Goodland Cemetery, Goodland, Kansas, 10:00 am, Saturday, March 16, 2013. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
