A Funeral Mass for Margaret Hamilton of Cave City, Arkansas, will be 12:00 PM, Friday, February 17, 2012, at St. Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church, with Reverend Stan Swiderski, Celebrant. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, Friday, February 17, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Margaret passed away February 14, 2012, in Cave City, Arkansas, at the age of 89. She was born November 11, 1922, in Cresson, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Harry and Mary Stock Anstead. She married Orville Hamilton on February 5, 1948, at Cresson, Pennsylvania, and worked as a secretary for the Glenview Ice Skating Rink. Margaret lived in Cave City, Arkansas since 2007, moving from Mountain Home. She moved to Mountain Home in 1992 from Buffalo Grove, IL. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, and a life member of the Alley-White Post #52 American Legion Auxiliary. Margaret is survived by one daughter; Susan (Charles) Jeffery of Strawberry, AR; one granddaughter, Maggie Jeffery of Strawberry, AR; 2 brothers, Leo Anstead of Elk Grove, CA, and Roy Anstead of Ocean Village, DE. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 brothers, and 5 sisters. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum with Charlie Jeffery, Larry Lawson, Sam Morgan, and Coy McCoy as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Auxiliary. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
