Margaret Volltrauer

Margaret Volltrauer died Monday, October 20, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 88. She was born Tuesday, April 27, 1920 in Yugoslavia, daughter of Josef and Katharina Katzler Beierle. She married Joseph Volltrauer on November 23, 1937 in Yugoslavia and they have been married over 70 years. Margaret lived in Mountain Home since 1979 moving from Chicago, Illinois. Her family knew her as "DIE BESTE Frau, Mutter und Oma". Survivors: Margaret Volltrauer is survived by her husband, Joseph Volltrauer and 2 sons; Joseph V. (Erwine) Volltrauer of Mountain Home, AR, Hermann (Erika) Volltrauer of Monroe Twp., NJ, 5 grandchildren; Helga (Dana) Friedland, Brigitte Shipman, Heidi (Curtis) Volltrauer Skiver all of Mountain Home, AR, Joseph (Laura) Volltrauer of Jackson, NJ and Phillip (Laurie) Volltrauer of Parsippany, NJ, 10 great-grandchildren Erik, Katharina and Annika Friedland, Joseph and Jakob Shipman, Allison, Katie, Kaylin, Christopher and Rebecca Volltrauer and 1 sister, Ava O'hl. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral: Memorial services for Margaret Volltrauer of Mountain Home, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Siegfried Johnson officiating. Burial: Burial will be private in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
