Peggy Bourland died Thursday, February 14, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 84. She was born Monday, September 3, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Jack and Lillian Frost. She married Calvin Bourland on June 5, 1954 at Round Lake, Illinois and worked as a payroll manager in the boat manufacturing industry. Peggy lived in Mountain Home for 28 years moving from Waukegan, Illinois. She loved knitting and making blankets and hats for the babies at BRMC. She loved to visit and have dinners with friends, gospel music, dogs and collecting clowns. Survivors: her husband, Calvin Bourland and 2 daughters, Sherrie (Charles) Chaney of Colorado Springs, Co, Jeanne Sherman of Jacksonville, FL, 4 grandchildren, Robert "Bob" Kramer, Laura Kramer (Ralph) McReynolds, Tahnee and Alex Bourland, 2 great-great grandchildren, Liam & James McReynolds and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: her parents, son Dennis Bourland, and brother Joe Frost. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Sunday, February 17 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for "Peggy" Margarethe Bourland of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 18, 2008 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Mike Shy officiating. Burial: Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home Memorials: American Diabetes Association or Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House
