A Gathering of Friends for Margot Joyce Hatcher "Granny" of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be from 4:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.
Joyce passed away September 25, 2017, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. She was born August 3, 1938, in Bakersfield, California, the daughter of Frank and Geneva Collins Ash. She married Joe Hatcher in 1958, in Las Vegas, Nevada and had many jobs over the years, most importantly, she was a homemaker. Joyce lived in Mountain Home since 2013, moving from Minden, LA. She enjoyed fishing, sewing and quilting.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Guy (Debbie) Wynn of Mountain Home, AR, and Russell Joe Hatcher of Benton, LA; daughter, Joni Leigh Hatcher of Blanchard, LA; six grandchildren, Justin (Sheena) Wynn, Joshua (Jessica) Wynn, Jessica (Jason) Clack, Jay Wynn, Reuben Hatcher, Shelley Hatcher and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Perry Dean Hatcher, sister, Peggy, and grandson, Houston Hatcher.
