Marguerite Johnson

Marguerite "Jean" Johnson, 93 of Mountain Home passed away peacefully February, 27, 2015 at Gassville Nursing Home with her family by her side.
Marguerite was born June 1, 1921 in San Diego, California. She was the only child of Walter Wayne Conkwright and Marguerite (Kidd) Conkwright. She married First Lt. Lee G. Johnson April 3, 1943. She spent most of her life in Riverside, California and Orange County, California until moving to Mountain Home in 1989.
Marguerite is preceded in death by her husband, Lee G. Johnson, her parents Walter Wayne and Marguertie Conkwright, her grandparents Rufus and Agusta Kidd and her grandson David R. Coughlin.
She is survived by her son, Randon W. Johnson (Judy), daughters Linda L. Johnson and Meredith A. Schimmelman (Arthur). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Johnathan, Leigh, Erik, Christine, Erin, Lesley and Victoria and twelve great-grandchildren, Johnathan, Megan, Lindy, Brenna, Jarrett, Cameron-Lynn, Jacob, Tess, Aurora, Addison, Travis and Sydney.
She was an avid walker, bird watcher, loved needlepoint, decorating, history, reading and loved her little pet companion Max the Chihuahua.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family is requesting memorials to be made to Autism Speaks, autismspeaks.org.
