A Graveside Service for Marian Louise Fields of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at Voss-Mohr Cemetery, Millard, Nebraska. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm, Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Marian passed away January 13, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 87. She was born July 15, 1924, in Fairbury, Nebraska, the daughter of Theron and Perle Adkins Carlin. She married Gene Fields on June 30, 1988, at Omaha, Nebraska, and worked as a pharmacy merchandiser. Marian lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas, since 2001, moving from Glendale, Arizona. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home, AR, and enjoyed crafting, video games, and holidays with her family. Marian is survived by her husband, Gene Fields of Mountain Home, AR; 2 daughters, Kathleen (Mel) Mills, of Mountain Home, AR and Nancy (Richard) Gerdes, of Thousand Oaks, CA; 2 sons, James (Sandy) Pilcher, of Albuquerque, NM and Harry Pilcher, of Omaha, NE; 8 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Patrick Bennett, and 1 grand-daughter. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, www.dav.org .
