Marie Metcalf

Marie E. Metcalf was born March 22, 1921 in Sully, Iowa. She was the daugher of Harry and Johanna Palzter Vanwyk. She married Donald Metcalf, November 1, 1942, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Metcalf family moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas from Pella, Iowa in 1981. Mrs. Metcalf was employed as a machine operator with the Pella Window Company. She loved to feed squirrels, deer and other wildlife in her yard. She also loved sewing and quilting. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Marie E. Metcalf passed away at her residence, December 3, 2005, at the age of 84 years, 8 months and 11 days.
