Marion Edward Stout of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away October 7, 2022, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 90. He was born May 3, 1932, in Wynn, Arkansas, the son of John and Ethel Stout. He married Jane Kuzdas on October 8, 1955, in Cicero, Illinois. Marion was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Marion lived in Mountain Home since moving from Addison, Illinois, in 1993. He was a very involved member of the Mountain Home Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and Senior Pastor. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. He was also a chaplain for Transport for Christ for many years. Marion was a devoted husband and father.
Marion is survived by his son, David Jonathan (Karen) Stout, Sr. of Cabool, MO; daughter, Rebecca (Daniel) Rhea of Dixon, IL; sister, Ruth Tate of Bolingbrook, IL; nine grandchildren, David Stout Jr., Cheyenne Mae Stout, Cierra Jane Stout, Rachel Faith Hansen, Cody Daniel Rhea, Emily Elizabeth Rohrig, Abigail Rebecca Seiberlich, Isaac Daniel Rhea, and Nathaniel Daniel Rhea; and six great-grandchildren, Cecily, Anna, Eloise, Millie, Jack, Amelia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two brothers, Leon and Bernard Stout.
Visitation will be Sunday, October 9, 2022, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Graveside Service for Marion will be 2:30 pm, Monday, October 10, 2022, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Pastor Mike Donathan officiating. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Private Estate Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
