Marjorie passed away September 19, 2013, in Henderson, Arkansas at the age of 79. She was born June 14, 1934, in Steele City, Nebraska, the daughter of Alfred and Marie Burkhart Carmichael. She married Clifton Brown in 1968 and worked as a principle for St. Joseph's Catholic School and was a chef for the Elks Lodge in Beatrice, Nebraska. Marjorie had a bachelor's degree in education. Marjorie lived in Henderson since 2008, moving from Nebraska. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters and enjoyed cooking and traveling.
Marjorie is survived by her son, Clifton Brown of Henderson, AR, 4 daughters, Alberta Scott of Beatrice, NE, Buff Branson of Baldwin, NY, Leah Nutter of Fresno, CA and Willisa Rains of Madera, CA; 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and her puppy, Miley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Rene Pugh and son, Ryan Brown.
