A Graveside Service for Marjorie B. Hemlock of Midway, Arkansas, will be 10:30 am, Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, with Dr. Mike Shy officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 10:00 am, Thursday, August 16, 2012, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Marjorie passed away August 8, 2012, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 87. She was born July 2, 1925, in Berwyn, Illinois, the daughter of John and Mary Goga Burian. She married Joseph Hemlock on March 9, 1946, at Oak Park, Illinois and worked as a supervisor for Pacific Bell Telephone. Marjorie lived in Midway, Arkansas since October 1986, moving from Canoga Park, California. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. She was a caring, outgoing person who loved to laugh and joke. She was an animal lover, reader and philanthropist. Marjorie is survived by her 3 nephews, Ronald W. Thiele of Polo, IL, John (Kimberly) Thiele of Belgium, WI and Donald (Clara) Thiele of Howard, IL: 4 nieces, Dyann Burian, Helen Julieanne Todd, Sara Swain and Ginee Lee Oaks and special friends Jon and Corinne Hiser, Ed and Esther Switzer ("The Three Party"). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 sister, Mary Thiele, 1 brother, Julius Burian and 1 nephew, Donald Thiele. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
