Marjorie Theresa (Hoisington) Krugler passed away June 26, 2016, in Gassville, Arkansas at the age of 90. She was born May 29, 1926, in Elma, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Theresa (Dynes) Hoisington.
She graduated high school in 1944, in Floyd, Iowa, and then entered the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps and graduated in 1948 from St. Joseph Mercy Nursing School in Sioux City, Iowa, as a Registered Nurse. She married Robert B. Krugler from Rockford, Iowa on August 27, 1949. Robert and Marjorie farmed until 1961. Marjorie worked as a registered nurse at the Cedar Valley Hospital, Charles City, Iowa, and the Belmond Community Hospital, Belmond, Iowa. After retirement, Bob and Marge enjoyed many years RV-ing and eventually settled down in Berryville, Arkansas. In 2014, Marjorie moved to Gassville, Arkansas. She enjoyed flower gardening, camping, fishing, baking goodies, crafting and especially spending time with the family.
Marjorie is survived by her five children, Larry (Phyllis) Krugler of Rogers, AR, James (Deb) Krugler of Morris, IL, Alan Krugler of Berryville, AR, Sharon (Bradley) Johnson of Mountain Home, AR and Michael Krugler of Pleasant Hope, MO; nine grandchildren, Paul, Andrea, Amanda, Tony, Rebecca, Eric, Amy, Micah and Jayden and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2013; daughter, Karen Kay Krugler and two sisters, Arlene Boyer and Dorothy Hoisington.
A Graveside services for Marjorie Theresa (Hoisington) Krugler will be 12:00 P.M., Friday, August 19, 2016 at eh Fayetteville National Cemetery, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
