Marjorie Phillips was born June 24, 1921 in Marysville, Washington. She was the daughter of Elston and Martha Mattern Wagner. She married the late William Phillips on December 29, 1943 in Marysville, Washington. Mrs. Phillips was retired from District 59 Arlington Heights School District where she worked many years as a school administrator. Mrs. Phillips retired to the Fairview area in 1980 from Elk Grove Village, Illinois and was very active in the Bull Shoals Hospital Auxiliary, the Bridge Club and her church, Bull Shoals United Methodist Church. Marjorie Phillips passed away at Memphis Healthcare on march 15, 2005 at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 21 days. Survivors: Son, Gary (Chris) Phillips of Flippin, Arkansas; daughter, Beverly (Ron) Kain of Bartlett, Tennessee; grandchildren, Tony McGreevy, Nicole Kotsy, Gwendolynn O'Leary, and John, Jorie and William Kain; four great- grandchildren and one sister, Donna Dow of Seabeck, Washington Funeral: Memorial Service for Marjorie "Pat" Phillips of Flippin, Arkansas will be Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home in Bull Shoals with Reverend Nicholas Lascaro officiating.
