Marjorie Rock

A Celebration of Life for Marjorie K. Rock of Franklin, WI, formerly of Mountain Home, will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Bill Mackey officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. until service time, Thursday, September 24 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home.

Marjorie died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 73. She was born Friday, September 18, 1936 in Menasha, Wisconsin, daughter of Rodney and Janet Johnson Kiefer. She married Donald Howard on July 9, 1983 at West Bend, Wisconsin and worked as a counselor for Alcohol and Drug Abuse. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School, Menasha, Wisconsin and took her Alcohol and Drug Abuse training at DePaul Hospital in Milwaukee. Thru her counseling and her own recovery she touched a countless number of lives. She loved knitting, baking, reading and was a member, actress, director and choreographer for the Twin Lakes Playhouse.

Marjorie is survived by her husband, Donald Howard, 2 daughters, Kelly (Bruce) Atwell of Oshkosh, WI, and Kathryn (Blaine Schultz) Rock of Bayview, WI,3 sons, Timothy Rock of Brookfield, WI, Thomas (Tammy) Rock of Appleton, WI and Kevin Rock of Franklin, WI, Step-daughter, Janet Howard of Loganville, GA, 13 Grandchildren, 2 sisters, Anne (Richard) Gollnick and Sue (Ted) Blohm, 5 brothers, Michael (Irene) Keifer, Daniel Kiefer, Doug Kiefer, Stanley Kiefer and Bill (Jodi) Kiefer and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorials may be made to the Twin Lakes Playhouse. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services.
