A Memorial Service for Marjorie Dorothy Wire, 85, of Bull Shoals, AR will be 11AM Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Flippin, AR with Pastor Steve Martin officiating. Marge died October 5, 2014, at Mountain Home, AR.

Marjorie was born July 6, 1929 to Kaj and Clara Jensen Aagaard in Evanston, IL She married Chris Wire on January 16, 1959. Marjorie grew up in Winnetka, IL. She was an accomplished soloist and sang with her father at the Chicago Opera. Marjorie worked as a bookkeeper for Encyclopedia Britannica before quitting to become a homemaker. She spent many years volunteering for a number of organizations. Marjorie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Flippin, AR.

Marjorie is survived by husband, Chris Wire of Bull Shoals, AR; son, Chris Wire (Melody) of Flippin, AR; daughter, Karen Bosel (Chris) of Georgia; grandchildren, Sidney, Christian, Dana and Chad and three great-grandchildren. Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.
