Mark Parnell

Mark Parnell was born Wednesday, February 21, 1962 in Calico Rock, Arkansas, Son of Joe Dean Parnell and Lena Pearl Teegarden. He worked as an Oilfield Rigger and was a lifetime resident of Salesville. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He collected arrowheads, enjoyed hunting fishing and basketball. Mark died on January 23, 2008 at his residence in Salesville at the age of 45 years, 11 months and 2 days. Survivors: He is survived by one Son, Joseph Anthony Parnell of Sedalia, MO, one Daughter, Kayla Dawn Parnell of Mountain Home, AR, Granddaughter, Natalie Parnell of Sedalia, MO, Mother, Lena Pearl Parnell of Salesville, AR, one Sister, Stacy (Ronnie) May of Norfork, AR, two nephews, Jacob and James May. Preceded in Death by: His father, one daughter, Chantal and an infant son. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Saturday, January 26, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral Services for Mark Anthony Parnell of Salesville, AR, will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Galatia Assembly of God Church, with Reverend Larry Thomas officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery. Active Bearers: Joseph Parnell, Jacob May, James May, Jerry Parnell, Brad Parnell and Greg Skidmore.
