Mark Frank Selvocki of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away April 1, 2024, in Cotter, Arkansas at the age of 69. He was born June 6, 1954, in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, the son of Leonard and Helen Michalowski Selvocki. Mark attended the University of Pittsburgh where he received his Bachelor's of Pharmacy in 1978. He then began his career as a pharmacist at Tomlin's Pharmacy in his hometown. Mark married Eleanor Mete on October 28, 1979 in Shenandoah. The couple relocated to Mountain Home, Arkansas in May of 2008. He continued his work as a pharmacist at Fred's, until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of the St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Yellville, Arkansas. Mark enjoyed the meticulous detail of woodworking, crafting countless pieces for his family to cherish. He loved to cook and experiment with new recipes to share with his wife. Mark found solace in the art of fly fishing, connecting with nature and spending time at the local rivers.
Mark is survived by his wife of 44 years, Eleanor Selvocki of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Katherine (Joy Scott) Selvocki of Seattle, WA; and son, Matthew Selvocki of Indianapolis, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 1:00pm, Friday, April 12, 2024, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Yellville, AR. A Memorial Mass for Mark will follow at 2:00pm, with Father Ben Riley officiating. Entombment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Friends of the North Fork and White Rivers, PO Box 61, Mountain Home, AR 72654, https://friendsoftherivers.org/.
