Marshall Cardiff

January 20, 1927 — July 6, 2010

A celebration of his life and home going for Marshall Jackson Cardiff of Mountain Home, Arkansas will be held at Angelus Temple in California on August 6, 2010, at 9:30AM, with Bob Wieland officiating. Marshall passed peacefully in the arms of his wife Rose, at Hospice House of the Ozarks. He was 83 years old.

Marshall was born January 20, 1927 at Wichita Falls, Texas to James and Lettie Mumstein Cardiff. He married Rose Niemeyer on January 6, 1989 at Orange, California. Marshall was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked as an agronomist and entomologist in the industrial chemical industry. Marshall enjoyed sports and the outdoors and was a high school tennis champion. He lived to help and minister to people and spread the word of God. Marshall will be remembered as "Sing-A-Long", always ready with a song for any situation.

Marshall is survived by his wife, Rose Cardiff of Mountain Home, AR, one son, Gary Cardiff (Sharon) of Palm Desert, CA, two daughters, Jeanine Cardiff of Port Angeles, WA and Janice Cardiff-Gaffaney of Polson, MT, one step-daughter, Rose Leland (Mike) of Grand Rapids, MI, two sisters, Nora Billings of Las Vegas, NV and Ethelyn Gray of Hemet, CA, five grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild and his dear friends, Bob and Jacqueline Wieland of CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Burial will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, California. Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
