Graveside Services and burial for Martha Jager of Palos Heights, Illinois, formerly of Mountain Home will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, with Reverend Eric Dwyer officiating.
Martha died Friday, March 19, 2010 in Palos Heights, IL, at the age of 83. She was born March 31, 1924 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Pearl Davids. She married Gerbrandes Jager on May 11, 1945 at Chicago and worked as an insurance secretary. Martha lived in Mountain Home from 1989 until 2005 when she moved to Palos Heights, Illinois. She was a member of Memorial Christian Church. She liked to sew, knit and crochet.
Martha Jager is survived by her 3 sons, Gary (Cindy) Jager of Posen, IL, Wayne Jager of Boulder, CO and Thomas (Mary) Jager of Oak Forest, IL, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Grace (John) Melton of FL and Pearl (Ralph) Prince of Palatine, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 1 daughter, Pearl and 2 brothers, Henry and Jake.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
