Funeral Services for Martha Pendleton of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother David Williamson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, December 20, 2010 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Martha died Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Hiram Shaddox Geriatric Center, at the age of 88. Martha was born March 7, 1922 in Bessie, Oklahoma, the daughter of Fred George and Sarah Goossen Berg. She married Rev. G.W. Pendleton on July 20, 1956 at Wagoner, Oklahoma. She printed a church publication called the ?Seventh Trumpet.? Martha lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas for 35 years moving from W. Frankfort, Illinois. She was a member of New Testament Church of God. She enjoyed sewing, printing the ?Seventh Trumpet,? spending time with her family and friends, and reading the Bible and playing SkipBo. Martha is survived by her daughter, Juanita (Jack) Coy of Mountain Home, AR; granddaughter, Amanda (Forrest) Martin of Cabot, AR; grandson, Dustin (Tonya) Coy of Mountain Home, AR; great-grandson, Jackson Martin of Cabot, AR; 3 Nieces, Sue Adams-Smyth of Mountain Home, AR; Elwynna Adcock of Wichita, KS; Nancy Brashears of Moore, OK; and a nephew, Tim Smith of Benbrook, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother and a sister. Burial will be in the Baxter Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
