Martin Raymond Crumpley

A Memorial Service for Martin Raymond "Marty" Crumpley of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Vince Daniel officiating.

Marty passed away July 24, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70. He was born December 18, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Francis and Evelyn Brandebury Crumpley. After graduating from Breman High School in Medlothian, Illinois, he married Laurie Henkel on August 23, 1974 at Joliet, Illinois. Marty worked as a printer for Gunthrop-Warren. Marty and Laurie lived in Mountain Home since moving from Markham, Illinois in 1982. He was a member of the Amalgamated Litho Graphers Union. He enjoyed making crafts in his workshop, feeding and watching the deer and birds in the back yard and he was always out in the yard working on the gardens.

Marty is survived by his wife, Laurie Crumpley of Mountain Home, AR, brother, Edward Crumpley, brother-in-law, Dan (Marlene Blair) Henkel of FL, sisters-in-law, Cindy Rogers of Mountain Home, AR, Betty (Tom) Evans of Mountain Home, AR, and Sandy (Steve) Cunningham of OH, several nieces and nephews and special friends, the Bartosz family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Walter Petersen and brother-in-law, Bernie Rogers.

Inurnment will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Serenity House Building Fund.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
