Martin Mattson

Martin Mattson was born June 23, 1921 at Chicago, Illinois, the son of Charles and Sofia Soini Mattson. He married the late Esther Meyer Mattson on May 6, 1949 at Schaumburg, Illinois. He was a chemist with Northern Illinois University for 25 years and Universal Oil Products until retirement. Martin Mattson entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2004 at Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 6 days. Survivors: He is survived by his son:Mark Mattson of Mountain Home, Ark., and a Brother-in-law, Harvey Meyer of Mountain Home Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. Visitation: Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time on June 1, 2004 at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home. Funeral: Services will be at 3:00 p.m. at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home on Tuesday June 1, 2004. Burial: Martin Mattson will be laid to rest in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery Memorials: Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
