Marvin Lee Cullison of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away April 11, 2022, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 83. He was born October 6, 1938, in Rock Island, Illinois, the son of Ralph and Marjorie Schreiner Cullison. He married Sharlo Long on August 10, 1962, in Rock Island, Illinois. Marvin was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Marvin lived in Yellville since moving from Durham, North Carolina, in 2001. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Yellville, Arkansas and the American Legion. He enjoyed gardening, model railroading, and operating the Ham radio. He was a volunteer for the Yellville-Summit Schools and Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Sharlo Cullison of Yellville, AR; two sons, Mark (Kevin Galownia) Cullison, and Kevin (Nicole) Cullison; sister, Nancy Quigley; and two grandchildren, Cameron and Caiden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John Cullison.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Yellville-Summit. A Graveside Service for Marvin will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, North Carolina.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Yellville, Building Fund.
