Marvin Louis Wrightam of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away January 21, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 99. He was born in 1922, in Pontiac, Illinois, the son of Fred and Elsie Oltman Wrightam. He married Ruth Long in 1945, in Peoria, Illinois. Marvin lived in Mountain Home since moving from Pontiac, Illinois, in 1984. He was a member and deacon at Promise Land Bible Church. He enjoyed fishing and was an animal lover.
Marvin is survived by his son, Fred (Sheri Mize-Wrightam) Wrightam of Rochester, IL; daughter, Linda (John) Erickson of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Philip) Musterman, Elias Wrightam, and Carolyn (Spencer Poulos) Wrightam; and three great-grandchildren, Amelia, Samuel, and August Musterman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Long; sister, Marie Cairns.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral Services for Marvin will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at the Promise Land Bible Church with Pastor Mike Brinkmeier officiating. Burial will be in the Promise Land Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas, with Joseph Gaglirado, Sr., Wayne Eagle, Brian Kahre, Dave Pearson, Steve Proctor, and Kasy Clemmons as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Spencer Poulos, Elias Wrightam, Philip Musterman. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
