Mary Frances Ashburn has peacefully passed at the age of 96. Frances was born on November 4, 1927, in Tupelo, Mississippi, and departed from this world on April 6, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Frances found immense joy in quilting and considered it one of her favorite pastimes. However, her proudest accomplishments revolved around her family. She was a beacon of love and strength for all those around her.
Surrounded by her loving family, Frances took her last breaths in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Frances is now reunited with her parents, both husbands J.N. Miller and Lloyd Ashburn, her son Gary Michael Miller, as well as her two grandchildren Stacy Lynn Berg and Mary Katherine Jackson.
In mourning the loss of Mary Frances Ashburn yet celebrating her remarkable life are her surviving family members: two daughters Melinda Berg of Flippin, AR, and Connie (Harlin) Trivitt of Clarkridge, AR; son Jeff (Melissa) Miller of Kansas City, MO; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her extended family members are two sisters who will forever cherish their memories with Frances - Dot Austin and Joan Haven.
A visitation to honor Frances' life will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at Kirby and Family Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Arkansas, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM to allow friends and loved ones to pay their respects. Frances will be laid to rest in the Bentley Ridge Cemetery in Clarkridge, Arkansas.
