Mary Baker died Monday, August 25, 2008 in Mountain Home at the age of 75. She was born Monday, April 3, 1933 in Corinth, Mississippi, the daughter of Raymond and Dora Pittman Butler. She married Charles S. Baker on January 13, 1950 at Kennett, Missouri and was a homemaker. Mary lived in Mountain Home since 1990 moving from Bellville, Illinois. She was a member of Gideons International Auxillary and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a seamstress and had a love for music. Survivors: Mary Baker is survived by her husband, Charles S. Baker of Mountain Home, AR, son, Steven (Linda) Baker of Edmond, OK, 2 daughters, Cathy (Tommy) Nuckols (formerly of Mountain Home) of Corpus Christi, TX and Sarah (Gary) Gann of Jonesboro, AR, 4 brothers, Alton (Nell) Butler of Pensacola, FL, Garland Butler of Portageville, MO, Charles (Donna) Butler of Harrison, AR and Jimmy (JoAnn) Butler of North Little Rock, AR, 2 sisters, Viola Bruce of Jacksonville, AR and Martha (Gene) Beal of Conway, AR, 7 grandchildren, Tom (Michelle) Baker, David (Jamie) Baker,, Jeff (Kristen) Nuckols, Adam (Lacy) Nuckols, Michelle (Timmy) Blaylock, Jared and Julie Gann and 6 great grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Visitation: Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M., Wednesday, August 27 at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral: Funeral services for Mary Christine Baker of Mountain Home, AR, will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, August 28, 2008 at East Side Baptist Church, Mountain Home with Dr. Mike Shy officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 P.M. at Kennett Memorial Gardens, Kennett, Missouri. Burial: Burial will be in Dunklin Memorial Gardens, Kennett, Missouri. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Ozarks, Gideons International or East Side Baptist Church. Active Bearers: Tom and David Baker, Jeff and Adam Nuckols, Jared and Julie Gann and Michelle Blaylock as pallbearers .
