Mary died Sunday September 7, 2008 at Hospice House of the Ozarks. She was 82. Mary was born July 30, 1926 at Alton, Illinois to Horace and Hallie Napp. She was married to Bill Blanchard on August 5, 1976 at Godfrey, Illinois. Mary was a secretary for 28 years for the Peavey Company. Mary had lived in the Bull Shoals area for fifteen years, moving from Hudson, Kansas. She was active in the Chamber of Commerce and The Bull Shoals Theater of the Arts. Mary would have loved to have become a dancer and she loved the arts. She was an explorer and loved to get in the car and go. Mary was a member of Unity of the Ozarks Church. Survivors: She is survived by her beloved family: nephew Allan Napp(Kyle) of Alton, Illinois, her three daughters, Terri Tindal of Palm Coast, Florida, Phyllis Sills(Jack) of Manhattan, Kansas, and Danna Walker(Lynn) of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, one great niece and several great nephews. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother, H.A. "Bud" Napp, and sister-in-law, Ramona Napp. Funeral: A memorial service for Mary Blanchard of Bull Shoals will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 12 at Kirby and Family Funeral home in Bull Shoals with Reverend Corrine Besee officiating. Burial: Burial will be in Upper Alton Cemetery in Alton, Illinois. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or Unity Church of the Ozarks.
