Mary Elizabeth Boiteau

Mary Elizabeth Boiteau (born Maria Carolina Geromini), 94, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, died Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was born September 17, 1922 in Franklin, Massachusetts to the late Svezia Tabarrani Geromini and Francesco Geromini. Mary and Bertand R. Boiteau were married on October 16, 1943.

A resident of Bellingham, Massachusetts for 50 years, Mary was employed for several years at Whiting and Davis Company in Plainville prior to working 20 years for the Bellingham school system as a cafeteria cook . She retired in 1984. Mary was a communicant of Assumption Parish in Bellingham before moving to Franklin where she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Parish. Mary was a member of the Franklin-Bellingham Council on Aging.

Mary’s greatest love was keeping a home for her husband and children; she delighted in feeding her family and spoiling her grandchildren by the shores of Lake Hiawatha in Bellingham.

Survivors include her daughter, Jeanne Mourey of Franklin, MA and son, Edward Boiteau (Ellen Chagnon) of Mountain Home, AR; five grandchildren, Paul (Melissa) Capuzziello, Jennifer Capuzziello, Katie Boiteau (Rick Langley), Sylvie Stacy (Scott), and Matthew Mourey; one great granddaughter, Camryn Cherella; three siblings, Balda Nasuti, Carlo (Rita) Geromini, and Theresa DeAngelis, all of Franklin, MA and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 41 years; brothers, Dino Geromini and Frank Geromini and sisters, Inez Gulino and Caroline Bucci.

A Gathering of Friends in celebration of Mary’s life will take place at Good Samaritan Society Chapel, 300 Good Sam Drive, Mountain Home, Arkansas on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Society, 300 Good Sam Drive, Mountain Home, AR, 72653.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Mary’s life will take place at Ginley Funeral Home,131 Main Street , Franklin, Massachusetts on Friday, November 4, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 9:00. Interment will follow at Precious Blood Cemetery in Blackstone, Massachusetts.

Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
