Funeral services for Mary L. Brown of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2011 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Ed Spurlock officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time. Mary passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 77. She was born June 27, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John and Marcella Nicoli. She married Charles Brown on October 3, 1953 at Chicago, Illinois and was a homemaker. Mary lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1992 moving from Tinley Park, Illinois. She liked to play bingo, go to garage sales and visit casinos. She loved being with her kids when they came to visit. Mary is survived by her husband Charles; 1 son, Raymond (Tammy) Brown of Roswell, GA; 3 daughters, Julie (Jan) Pietrzak of Palos Heights, IL, Debbie Legner of Carlsbad, NM and Lisa Gawlicki of Wheaton, IL; 2 grandchildren, Christina and John (Emily) Legner and 1 great-grandson, Tyson Legner. She was preceded in death by her parents. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the North Central Arkansas Humane Society. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
