Mary Ann Collard

A Memorial Service for Mary Ann Collard, 67, of Bull Shoals, AR will be at 1PM, Thursday, February 20th, 2014, at Kirby and Family Funeral Home in Bull Shoals, AR with Reverend Donnie Hudson officiating. A Celebration of her Life party will be held in the spring at the Hoevel-Barnett VFW in Bull Shoals. Mary Ann lost her battle with cancer on February 6, 2014.

Mary Ann was born November 17, 1946, at Detroit, MI to Ted Paul and Helen Elizabeth Remick Alexander. She married her best friend and love of her life, Keith, one month later they relocated to Bull Shoals. Before retiring she worked in human resources and marketing. Mary Ann was full of life. She loved to laugh, dance and to be surrounded by her friends. She was a dedicated volunteer at the Bull Shoals Food Pantry, a member and Sergeant at Arms of the Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary Club, a member of the board for Serenity Inc. and co-founder of the exercise class Strong Women in Bull Shoals. She was a member of the Bull Shoals United Methodist Church.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband Keith of Bull Shoals, AR; daughter, Krista Summers (John) of OR; son, Stephen Hockmuth of MI; step-daughter, Cathleen Haskill of MI; step-son Sean Collard of MI; sisters, Carol Anderson (Jerry) of OH, Phyliss Miller (Barry) of FL and Tedi McLain (Dick) of IL; one grandchild on the way and step-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Joel and Hope; as well as many nieces, nephews and canine child, Mindy.

Memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals-Lakeview Rotary Club, Serenity Inc., or Bull Shoals Food Pantry.
