Mary Ellen Foster

Mary Ellen Foster of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away May 13, 2021, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 76. She was born March 18, 1945, in Gassville, Arkansas, the daughter of Wilburn and Carrie Avey Sutterfield. She married Jess Foster, Jr. on September 1, 1960 in Mountain Home, Arkansas and was a machine operator for Mar-Bax Shirt Factory. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, singing, camping, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband, Jess Foster, Jr. of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Mary (Marvin) Wimsatt, five grandchildren, Jason (Lora) Stone, Jessy Stone, Brandy (Joe) Stone, Jimmy (Alicia) Wimsatt, Candace (Rock) Wimsatt, and Melanie Smith; and Hunter, Gavin, Zoey, Emma, Alonna, Cameron, Kayleigh, Gage, Conor, Arianna, and Hastin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Neva J Smith.

Visitation will be Monday, May 17, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Arkana Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Due to current restrictions, masks are required.
