Mary Hipes

Mary D. Hipes was born December 31, 1929, at Sweetser, Indiana, to Orville and Mary Orsborn VanNess. She married Virgil Hipes on December 31, 1955 in Springfield, Tennessee. She worked in Quality Control for Baxter Laboratories for 20 years. She had lived in Mountain Home for 42 years, moving from South Dakota. She passed away on June 29, 2004 at her residence at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 28 days. Survivors: her husband, Virgil, 1 son, Ronnie D. (Lavena) Murray of Bull Shoals, 1 daughter, Debbie (Ken) Marberry of Flippin, 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: her parents Visitation: Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral: 10:00 A.M., Saturday at the Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Leonard Griffith officiating.
